Hi, I'm not a compiler, I'm only a simply end user.
I'm wondering if someone was able to run jmule under os x.
Thanks.

I have no mac so I can you give only some more general java - jmule tips. But it would be great if it is possible to run jMule on mac.
Did you use Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, version 1.4.1 for Mac OS X?

get java version in a commandline in java binary dir type
java -version
to get java version information
you may need the beanshell package if you want use beanshell scripts in commandline ui
start the current jmule.jar
java -jar jmule.jar --$xxx
$xxx is on of the flags coreOnly sacli gui , currently gui is not very usefull
the commnadline ui(s) may doesn't work well with on mac because of text format is unix - line terminator is the newline charcater
for coreOnly you can remote controll jmule with netcat or simelar application (listening port is 4655).
as in features.txt you get a overview commandline options.
First run should be in sacli mode and first command to exceute is install to configure jmule also make use of help command to get short overview

I have the right java version.
Now I'm doing some tries as you suggested.
I'll let you know the result.
Bye and thanks

It starts!
I succeed by copying the whole string from the batch file of the archive (%JAVA% -Djava.util.logging.config.file=.\sacli-logging.properties -jar jmule.jar --cmd install --sacli), and by putting "java" instead of "%JAVA%".
Now I can do a real comparison between mldonkey and jmule.
Bye
