Just rapid question concerning serverlist, how the edonkeyservers.xml from the jmule site is updated ?
Is there an automatic process to update it ?
See you

No there is no automatic process, but I think there is no need to update it every hour or even day. I was allways able to connect to the network with my own list save from last session - also in case last session was over a week ago. (And this practise allready before jMule project founded). I never used any of the auto update from web features. Yes those crawlers used to generate the serverlist are typicaly a bit more "complete" (contain servers not know well to other servers - possibly for *good* reason) as the list returned by the server your client is connected to, but this feautre was introduce in a time with more than 300! servers and most of them not very stable and/or with dynamic IP and no dns system support to get the new IP.

P.S.: I'm devloping a edonkeyServer plugin for jMule - but it is not for normal enduser - so maybe there is some way to have an updated list in automtic way by our own if some server operater and a php/servlet? coder help us to set up our own auto generated serverlist - containg servers know to be up more than 24h with same ip/dns and update the list not more then one time a day to public)
